Going to pick up our 2nd overlocker/serger.  We can get tiered tribal skirts, with trim, done in about 2 hours of steady, non stop work.  But of course, real life intrudes at the worst times (as does phone calls etc etc).  I just have to figure out where to set it up to use it.  Probably on the dining room table, which will be fine.  Woodstove, warm and cozy.  :)

Ah, my favourite machine :) Aren't they a GODSEND???? You can get a really good effect too if you do a tiny rolled hem on jersey-type fabric (with a bit of stretch) and stretch the fabric as you sew! Looks great on the edge of a flouncy-style skirt (if you like that kind of thing that is) or on the edges of HEWGE draped sleeves. And, yep, dining room table seems to draw the short straw every time. In fact, I often have mine in a row with the sewing machine - pet hate: unplugging one to plug in the other!!! so I caved and leave them both there now. Keep hitting the wrong pedal though!!
