Chesh was just telling me about his experiences at woolies today - the children were wandering around knocking over displays while dad didn't care; he was eating the packet of chips he had taken off the shelf and opened while still in the store....
Parents are responsible for little monsters like that.
I used to have same experiences when I worked at bookstore chain "Waldenbooks". Adults would come in and plunk their kids in the childrens section, and of course the kids would tear the section apart. One tourist gent, his daughter (14yrs old so being toddle isn't excuse) had been looking at a book about rock musicians. It was a large softback book, magazine sized. She curled the cover over the back to read it. Her father had the balls to demand a discount because the cover wasn't pristine. I told him if would have been if his daughter hasn't bent it backwards. He was most displeased.
