Ever want to just shake someone?
May. 7th, 2005 10:36 amErik Stanley, an attorney for the groups that filed suit, said the curriculum excludes the viewpoints of former gays and those who believe that "same-sex attraction can be overcome."
For one thing, there is no such thing as 'former gays'. It's like being alive. You either are or you aren't.
Just because these self-named "ex gays" have married "ex lesbians" does not mean they are suddenly heterosexual. They are still homosexual, but living a lie. That is why it's being excluded. Because there is no such thing as an ex homosexual. Maybe a bisexual that had decided to stick with oneside of the road, but that isnt' the same thing as claiming to be 'ex-gay'.
Kerchristing hell, when will people stop trying to legislate sexuality. When will people clue up that it's not a 'life style choice'. A girl does not wake up during adolescence and suddenly state "Gee, I think I will like boys". Same applies for boys.
