I was greeted with the news that Andre Norton has passed away. She was aged 93. She wrote her first book the year my mother was born. I grew up reading her works.
A shining light is no longer with us and that is a sad day, what a legacy...a wonderful body of novels that are still a darn good read. Missed but never forgotten.
