Decided not to wait to cut out the black fabric for another performance skirt. Have it soaking in a tub of cold water as I type this,  so I can hang it outside to allow the infamous 'droop' to occur. There wasn't much sag with the red fabric, so stands to reason, there will be minimum sag with this too.  Have good long straight selvage edges to make the waste band.  Should have it done either Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
