Was up until after 2am this morning, doing flood control. The rain was so heavy, it overflowed the gutters and backwashed under the roof. Nothing like slogging around in 40 degree water up over your ankles, in the middle of the night clearing drains and gutters. The only funny part was two cats, Affy, big black one, and Keito, the 4 month old white and tabby, sitting side by side looking out the sliding glass door watching us. I can imagine the feline dialog... "Hey Affy, what are our humans doing?" "Keito, humans are weird, and like to get wet., they do it every day." "But Affy, they usually do that IN the house."

Forgive me, I am a bit punchy from being tired.
