For want of truth in media
Oct. 19th, 2004 07:44 amI watched a film clip of Jon Stewart as a guest on CNNs Crossfire (link compliments of
fizzbang ). The interviewers: Tucker (Republican) and Paul (Democrat). Watch the 13 minute clip and be amazed and amused. Jon surprising them by not being the clown, and pleading with them to do their job and quit with the partisan hacking.
Also, I noticed a big difference in the behavior and actions of the interviewers: Whereas Paul would use humor and even accept some of the critisism of Jon, Tucker was rude, condescening and arrogant (Something Jon colorfully pointed out to him). But Jon, consumate professional would counter his rather snide comments wonderfully.
