anysiaIf a president could be chosen by how he dodges answering a question by bringing up a totally different subject, Bush would win by a landslide.
Mr President,what would you tell a man that lost his job due to it being outsourced to a country where someone is paid a fraction of what he was earning?' was aquestion.. His 'answer' was a spiel about he should get an education? How the hell does that replace his salary? Ooo, I know, its just like Deficit Spending!
Questioned about minimum wage..and again, instead of saying "After it being frozen at an unlivable level for the past 7 yrs, I will do something to bring it up" (like Kerry said after Dubya stupid statement) he again went on and on about education.
Give it a rest.. a lot of those highpaying outsourced jobs are from people that hold a degree. And higher education is NOT going to provide a living wage.
Gov't run medical coverage is bad? All countries that do it have lousy medical care? I wonder if Buddy Howard will take umbrage over that one?
Bush sidestepped very important issues, playing a verbal HOT POTATO game, whereas Kerry answered them! Bushs' catchword was "litany". I guess he forgot that 4 yrs ago, he had his plans or in his words when it was Kerrys plans, a litany he chanted.
Then once again came the personal attacks. Bush kept it up, and even broke the debate rules laid down by speaking directly to Kerry. Naughty Bush, but as usual, when you are getting verbally left behind, you resort to nasty personal attacks. BTW..Yes, Kerry has been in the Senate for 20 ys.... ON HIS OWN MERIT, not on the weight of his Daddys name. If he was doing such a lousy job, he wouldn't have been there that long.
God is on your side? Who says so? *I* take great offense at ANY politician or group that claim they are on the right side of god. Remember, Bushy baby, Christians, especially of the baptist persuasion are NOT the majority, no matter how much your 'statistics' are trimmed to fit.
