Computer Prognosis
Dec. 10th, 2008 04:37 pmTook Acerchild (Travelmate) to the tech, and had it bench tested, memory stress test, and hard drive tested too.
Good news/Bad News
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the hard drive.
There is still an issue with memory access.
Prognosis: the computer to kick the bucket any second, or last for a few more years. Am in the process of setting up it's replacement.
Will also be donating AcerBeast (Extensa 2000) to Computer Angels.
