Typical tyrants
Apr. 11th, 2008 10:03 am"China has repeatedly blamed the Dalai Lama, the exiled Tibetan leader, and his supporters for fomenting the unrest."
Dear Chinese Gov't;
The nicest thing I can say about the above statement is "Bullshit!"
Let's say nothing about how you invaded their country, then claimed it as your own, saying it was always part of China, even though that is patently a lie, have brutalised, and murdered the people there causing the 'unrest'. No, let's have you place the blame for your misdeeds on the shoulders of a man who was forced to flee, because as sure as the sun comes up in the east, if you had gotten your hands on him, he would either have been killed, or beaten into being a propaganda tool.
It's not just Tibetans who are protesting against your treatment of Tibet. It's the world. The Dalai Lama proved once again, he is a man of peace by stating he supports China's hosting of the Olympics, but insisted nobody had the right to tell protesters demanding freedom for Tibet "to shut up." He also proved he is a better person than I am because I don't think China should be hosting the Olympics, especially in light of what they did to their own frigging citizens to build the stadium and accommodations.
I support the athletes, but I will not be watching the events.
