Stop the presses

(looks again) The new ad in a magazine. It looks sooo nice. (yes, I blurred out the phone numbers)

We had debated whether to put an advert in a local dance magazine or not. We decided if we wanted to reach a broader audience, we would advertise in a more widely read and distributed magazine. Also, we didn't see the point to advertising tribal bellydance in a magazine that is more geared towards 'classic' cabaret style bellydance. The lady that does the ads complimented me on the design and the font. :) I knew those graphic/geek skills would come in handy some day.

Also, got to see Pirates of the Carribean. Fantastic flick, well worth the waite. :)

Nighttime activities

What a perfect night for dragging out the telescope. An alignment, almost perfect, where all I had to do was pivot the 'scope slightly, and adjust the elevation a tad. Could only see 3 of Jupiters moons this time, but Saturn, Mars and Venus were very bright. Mars is always a bit of a disappointment (with the exception of the 'close' flyby earlier), but hey I take the good with the not so good.
