anysiaYesterday went very well. The performance for The Shell Co. of Australia went exceptionally well. Had a bit of a chitchat with the audience afterwards. Much interest was there.
Last nights class was wondeful. Even though, like most new students, they would be a bit down on their progress (it's only been two lessons for them fergossakes) they are all doing very well, and picking things up quickly. We don't expect them to get everything spot perfect immediately. I ask all the students at the beginning of every new group of students "Do any of you know how to ride a bike?" When they say yes I then ask "Did you learn in one lesson?" When they say no, I ask "What makes this any different?" Then they all feel much better about their progress.:) Brenda and Seana are having fun this term. It's ok to know the more complex moves, BUT its good to have a term where they brush up on the basics.
Well, the new lorikeet has a name. From watching the behavior of Archimedes and then the new ones responses, it seem the new one is a female. She seems to like shredding the cage bottom liner and and making a nest. Since she has one bad leg, and tends to rest most of her weight on the good leg, she has earned a name: Eileen.
