Reading at News.com.au about smoking being banned from pubs and playsets. That's well and good, but when is marinating in vile concoctions (aka Colognes, perfumes, aftershaves) going to make the list of 'respiratory hazards'?  Considering that Australia has an alarming Asthma rate, one would think that more than tobacco smoke would be targeted.

I don't know . . . I'm a nonsmoker, but I'm even against smoking being banned in bars. After all, it's all my choice to go into a place, knowing i might encounter smells, etc. I'm not a big fan of big government/regulating personal choices. So, I'd have to say I hope there NEVER is a regulation against perfume, cologne, smell, etc. That's just too much of a personal choice. . . .

How about just educating people on HOW to use cologne/perfume/aftershave? Like, you aren't supposed to soak in it so much that bloodhounds could find you from 20 miles away?
