There's a difference between vanity and self-esteem.

Vanity is 'slaying the gray' (aka dying your hair) so you can preen in front of a mirror.

Self-Esteem is slaying the grey so you don't cringe or feel dread passing by a reflective surface.

A little ‘self care’ goes a long way.
