Book 'em Dano... errr Anysia
Sep. 6th, 2004 02:30 pmWe have been booked for another performance in Fremantle, on Friday night. Such is the price of fame. Was asked if a certain person was part of our group, and I answered honestly "No, but she used to be one of my students". When asked what was the difference between us and the other group, told her the other group does choreographed ATS, to which she replied "That doesn't sound very tribal.". And I agreed (since I have video tapes of 6 months worth of performances with them that were identical shows that it was always choreographed.) Which is why we planned to leave and start up on our own when we saw that wasn't ever going to change.
Also, we have a new student. She walked past the window of where we were practicing, really liked what she saw, and inquired about us at the desk. 36 students now and all but 4 of them are term repeaters (from basics, to beginners, to intermediate etc etc) . Just keeps getting better and better.
On an aside, put up a new (overdue) picture up on our "About Us" page to reflect the performance level dancers. I waited until I got permission from all of our dancers first. I won't use someone elses' image without their permission. The feedback has been great. :)
