I got a new lens

anysiaThe Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. I had a $40 gift card for JB Hi Fi so decided to get it the lens there. Ended up being almost half price.
The Depth of Field is amazing with it. The perfect portrait lens.
In this photo, the focal point was the wick of the candle. I love how the wash of flame is sharp, and the details on the wick are crystal clear. The rest of the subject is softened.
