The good news is, according to Aikidomayland, is that this cold is as bad as it gets. I've slept most of the day away, with bouts of painful wakefulness. Been coughing so much, my ribs hurt. Throat feels raw. Breathing sounds like cross between gargling and wheezing.

Think my family has given the makers of LemSip and Strepsil their profits for this week.

Time for more sleep.
