Aikidomayland cracked the outside edge of the safety tab on the food processor lid about 2 months ago. The entire safety tab has finally fallen off. I can, by virtue of slender sewing tool, bypass the safety catch and use the food processor, but not a good idea to do this.
So, I spent a goodly part of yesterday searching for a supplier of parts. I think the supplier must be in the witness protection program, because it took a lot of time to find and then call said supplier. Only to be given another phone number to call.
Parts have been ordered. This is my boggle. It cost $10 less to get 2 replacement parts (the chopping blade has a crack in the plastic from someone *points above* putting something that should haven't been loaded into the food processor before it had been cut into quarters) than it cost to originally get the entire thing!
