I has a pool!

Meegan and Daggles gave me an inflatable pool for the holidays. Alan and I set it up today (hat tip to Jedi Nightwolf for his suggestion of using the vacuum cleaner).

I spent close to two hours floating and doing some exercises. It was the first time in ages that I haven't had lower back pain.

Got a tarp to put over it to keep yard litter, and possibly birds, out of the water.

Not to mention teh chlorine getting used up quicker. We had a spa with no cover for a while and it raced through the chlorine (much faster than with the cover)

It also dropped quite a bit of water on the hotter days. Yard litter was the least of the concerns.

Oh yeah, and it's fantastic to not have back pain, even for the briefest of times. Glad you have a way of creating this sensation

It's a blessing, truly it is.

I am whipped, as I have forgotten just how tiring exercising in a pool, even a knee deep 'wading pool' can be. I expect to sleep like the dead tonight.

Loki kept going around and around the pool, up on the higher part of the yard, back down onto the bricks, up onto a windowsill, MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW!

I think he was surprised I survived.

Keito, he saw strange large thing in back yard and ran into the house.

Oh, they are the best!.. well, next best thing to a hot tub cos once the water warms to outside temp... ahhhhhhh.

A hot tub would be nice, but I am very happy with my small oasis of cool, as 37c is predicted this Thursday.

Considering it's gonna hit close to 100F, ice sounds like a great idea!
