We give our thanks

To any and all who sent condolences and comfort during our time of grief. I was going to answer each and every post, but I really didn't want to come across as parroting the same sentiment over and over. It felt unfair to all who offered compassion to do so.

To Delicious Irony, akire_yta, nightdog_barks, replyhazy, bschili, discordia13, kae_dash, mynxii, japester, madradish, melancharisbron , elysiangirl, chats_noirs, cassie_o, terriwood, roya_spirit, purrdence, lifein2x3, voodoolimbo, yonmei, bonobochick, meljane, tupelo, wooktallman and dhroz: thank you, it made the pain easier to handle to know we weren't alone.

And special thanks to shadoutcarver, for 'holding our hands' the past few days.

I would just like to add my words of thanks and appreciation for all of your support, comfort and sympathy. In particular I want to recognise the strength that Anysia has been and given me during this difficult time - couldn't have done it without you hon.

The very sudden and unexpected loss of someone who has been for so long, so close to my mother and I has been particularly painful and overwhelming. With your help the healing has begun and we are picking up and putting back the pieces of our lives.

It won't be quite the same, but it will be enough to move on and after all, that is what my father would have wanted.
