anysiaWell, it seems our May class is fully booked, and with calls still coming in! We will have to really look for another alternate place to hold a class, or have another class scheduled there. So much for needing a studio backing.
Todays session was brilliant. Poor Lisa, though, her toe is mangled and it will take time to heal. All she could do was watch and take mental notes.Poor kid.
Shev, Kim and Sue literally soared. With Kim and Sue have Egyptian/Turkish dance experience, we had to let them do tribal arms the E/T way, then show them the way to do them tribal style. Might sound cruel, but it's difficult to explain why you can't do them the Egyptian way, they have to FEEL it. And Boy did they ever. After that, they did them Tribal style and could not believe the difference. Did pretty good with Zil drill today. Wish Sue wasn't so hard on herself about them. It takes time and practice. Well, with the class music, it will be easier for her to practice. Sent Shev home with spare pair of zils and music too.
Ran through the music for our gig on the 30th. Other than a case of giggle fits because of us being silly, that went wonderfully. Meegan promised not to be so bratty at the performance. (laughing)
I feel so good about how things are moving and advancing.
