Another aspect of photography
Feb. 5th, 2008 01:05 pmI took my Pentax out, just to give it a battery check, and to make sure all was well with it. I looked at the lens, and a lightbulb went on in my head. I brought it over to my telescope and put it in the eyepiece. It fit, but I was thinking I would need an adaptor. Don't know why it finally dawned on me, but as I was getting ready to put the camera away, I looked at the eyepiece mount again, and then back at the camera. I put the camera back into the eyepiece, and gently tightened the adjustment screws. It stayed secure without putting stress on the telescoping lens of the camera.
I had been wondering if I could adapt a better webcam, and all this time the answer was staring me in the face. Now, I need some clear skies.
Can't believe it took me this long to figure it out. Oy.
