Busy busy busy busy

anysiaOh, did I mention busy?
SwanCon weekend and teaching responsibilities, and panel schedules. What a thing to try to meld into a cohesive weekend.
Tim Powers is a marvelous guest, not only can he write wonderful books, but he can tell STORIES! (As some of my friends will attest, we LIKE stories..a lot!) I had a dance session scheduled on the "Guest of Honor Speech" so I begged/groveled/pleaded with my hubby to ask Tim if it would be ok for him to bring Video camera so that I didn't miss it. Tim was just dandy with it. And WOW can he tell STORIES! Been supplying Tim and Serena with percolated coffee, as what is served as coffee here is closer to espresso, and takes a bit of getting used to. (Now, don't go jumping down my throat for that one.. Oh native friends of mine, but when you want coffee and are served espresso, it's just about all one can do to not fountain it.)
Dance session went frigging MARVELOUSLY! Three new students, and they were just wonderful. More on that later. :)

Taking Tim and Serena out to dinner tonight. Already have the restaurant picked out. Tim is my kind of person. Caffiene lover extraorinaire! (I think he is single handedly giving the Australian producer of CocaCola their quartely profits in just four days!)
