Ok, maybe I expected too much. Or maybe (wishful thinking here) this is just one of many that might come out?
True, a few of the key characters are gone, because they have died (rip Richard Biggs, and Andreas Kastulas) and some have other acting jobs, and probably couldn't get away. But to me, this was too much like the old Star Trek Triumvirate of Spock, McKoy and Kirk. We have Lockley, Sheridan and Galen. A few other actors were in the mix, but not enough to account for a 1:12 min movie.
I found myself resting my chin in my hand while leaning onto the arm of my chair. There was no 'edge of your seat' with this flick. I will say it's not as bad as "Legend of the Rangers', but that isn't saying much.
So what did the demonic possession, and the threat of exorcism, and then shipping the bad boy back to earth, after the speech from Lockely about how Hell was actually being cast down to Earth and trapped there for all eternity, and coming to an end with the sun goes super-nova have to do with the rest of the story? Unless, again, this isn't all. One can hope, because this one definitely left me with a rather unsatisfied feeling. And after all the hype? meh
