Very laid back Sunday
Jun. 10th, 2007 04:00 pmWent to archery today. Was much fun. Kae_Dash and Japester couldn't make it today, one because of the dreaded flu still hanging on, and the other moving things into storage. Maybe next week.
Michael, the line coach, was most impressed with my improvement with using the Swift Wing target bow. I do have a habit of dropping my bow arm as I release when I am getting tired. Must keep watch out for that next time.
Going to be giving my son Alan my 'old' e-bike and get myself a new one (no, nothing wrong with it, but it's an end run around aikidomayland. if I give Alan my old one, and get myself a new one, there will be no complaints. However, if I just get Alan one, there will be. I have stopped trying to figure that out, and have come up with this as a solution, and aikidomayland is amenable to it. Go figure).
Got a remote shutter release, a bounce flash, a USB cable (the original went missing, probably vacationing in Jamaica or somewhere equally nice), and protective lens covers for the telephoto and wide angle lenses for my camera. They should be here in about 2 weeks, max. Also got a book "PhotoShop CS2 and Digital Photography For Dummies". I do pretty well so far, but I am always for learning a bit more.
Went to Foo Gwai for lunch. Was nutsy busy there. Sacrificed a pork bun to akire-yta. *urp*
Came home, and Loki behaved as if he had been abandoned FOREVER! Mew, yowl, MEW MEW MEW. Took him for a walk outside for about 20 minutes and brought him back in. MEW MEW MEW MEW.
aikidomayland decided to take a nap, mostly to use the heating pad for his slightly achey hamstring. Humans make better heating pads, and Loki can attest to that
