I have a hard time watching what passes for the news on local TV stations.

I personally don't give a damn about Marthas' rudeness, swearing, hissyfits, or offensive language.

I don't care about celebrities who are trying to drink themselves into an early grave.

I am sick of celebrity 'Cause-heads'. They find something to protest/strive against while it's in vogue, regardless if it's ridiculous, then switch tracks to another cause.

I do get sick of how the media seems to give extra weight to a cause or action a celebrity is openly vocal about, but c'mon, people. Remember one thing: You are endorsing and cheering on rhetoric from people that are PAID to read from a prepared script! I am sure there are many diamonds amongst all the hollywood pebbles, truly intelligent people, that have real interest in projects, inequities, abuse etc etc, but they are being lost in a sea of mediocre idiots.

I read about a PeTA supporting actress who says she is a vegetarian.

Her favorite dish is apparently shrimp and her spa says she bathes in milk.

Maybe she should re-read the PeTA brochures...

Ah, but she is vegetarian, not VEGAN. I can see people noshing on vegetable matter only for health reasons, but when they start spouting ethical reasons, I would really like them to get a life.

"How COULD YOU!!? how could you rip that poor carrot from the bossom of its' mother earth, just to nourish your selfish person!?"

All living things feed on something, and humans are OMNIVOURS, not herbivours (and yes, carver, I know that with you, I am preaching to the choir)
