anysiaThat's what happens when one goes off the regular schedule. Blew off PT Monday, and it threw my entire week into a spin. Went today, and barely lasted the distance. Gak! Legs felt like they were boneless after about 30 minutes.
After I got back, and dechlorinated, I puttered around in my garden, pots and planters. All the veggies and herbs seem to like their location. The basil, oregano, and coriander have doubled in size. The sage no longer looks like sunburned clump. I already have three tomatoes, and a few cayennes too. Had to use one of our bamboo skewers to hold the cayenne plant. It tends to want to bend when watered, and I really don't want the plant to break.
The chives I uprooted and transplanted are already ready for harvesting. I will do a top clip so they can grow back. Trimmed back an over long branch on the rosemary plant to make it 'shrub out' more. It smells so sweet, almost like nutmeg/cinnamon blended with it. Have the branch drying so I can strip the leaves off later.
Took the dried branches I had sitting in the mortar and stripped them, and packed the slightly crushed rosemary into an airtight jar.
