Watched The Butterfly Effect. Considering how fluff brained Ashton Kutcher flicks, or TV appearances have been, this was a good surprise.

One of the best "what ifs" movies I have seen. I heartily suggest the directors' cut, that has a different than the theatrical ending.

You liked that movie.

...

I don't think we can be friends anymore. We need to put a line of duct tape through the middle of the internet, and you have to stay on your half. :-P

It's a very interesting 'personal' AH movie; the 'driector's cut' version - man, that's some seriously dark sh!t, folks. Well done, but brrrrrrr....

Ever catch Donnie Darko for something similar?

Haven't seen Donnie Darko yet (note the 'yet').

But yes, the directors' cut was kinda omigodthatissofreaky. Much better than the "happy sappy" cinema ending. Glad that was saved for the DVD.

Both endings - well, the happy-sappy one was more so than the other, that's for sure, but the guy doesn't get the girl. The other was about as black as you get. Yes, everyone else did better, but shit, doing *that* to yourself in that place? And realizing what happened to your siblings? Gaaaaaads.
