I have got to re-educate the male bipeds here, that when I go to bed before them, they must check crunchy food level for the two furry gods. Keito is most persistent when he is hungry, and it's not either of them he pesters to get the job done.

Had a great day in Fremantle with Kira. Cruised some shops, got some lovely headband/scarves to wear at archery. I have very long hair, but do like to have it 'back' without having to braid it all the time. The headband/scarves do the job. Had lunch of lot's of curried veggies.

After some discussion with Kira, in which she informed me that there are gas (yeah, I know, petrol to some of my friends) and electric powered scooters (not like that lightweight one I got before, that needs wiring repair, but we can't get the damed compartment open) that can go at a fairly good clip, and go up hill, that don't require license and registration. Will try to find the right one for me, as I am tired of being totally dependent on the kindness of others for transport.

[livejournal.com profile] aikidomayland had a great day at Hoddywell. :) I was missed, but as he explained, it would be better for me to miss this one, than to get hurt and miss all get togethers permanently.

*ahem*

*poke*

BTW I found cornmeal (sold as 'Masaseca'), product of Mexico, at Epicurious in Subi for $4/500g. The lady there said that if I could give her recipes she'd be gagging to pass them on due to the sheer number of customers asking for them. Do you know how to make tortillas from dry cornmeal?

:P
