It's amazing, such a small thing pressing onto my spinal cord, about the size of a regular aspirin tablet, is making me so miserable

I'm not a nurse. Just a very interested amateur with a bit of physiology thanks to her massage study.

I gotta say, "Ow!!" in sympathy. Sure, it's not large, but a grain of sand in your eye wouldn't be very large, either. Doesn't mean to say you'd be comfortable with it, though.

Damn, though - why do these things happen to people who actually can appreciate how their bodies work? I know, I know, I'm not thinking about it right - everyone gets this, and being knowledgable is no protection. *sigh* Still, it oughter be!!

Crazy(and sending healing thoughts, heal! heal!!)Soph

Ouch..that is no fun...my mother had a disk removed because it was pressing on her spine.

No fun at all..

I hope that all ends up okay.

Oooh, that's coooooool!

I'm definitely medically curious! I'm quite sad with it really. I read medical journals and stuff, because the creation of the body absolutely fascinates me!

Hope you zap the bugger!
