I need sleep

Pain in the leg from pressure on spinal cord really doing a number on me right now. I have oxycotin, but it's probably the lowest dose available, so it's useless for me. You would figure the doc proscribing it would notice I tend to be resistant to medications (taking 3 times the usual amount of thyroid meds to get the needed results) so why the hell proscribe me a next to useless pain med. All I want it for is at night so I can sleep. I can deal with the pain during the day, but I need sleep. These 30 minute catnaps, through the night aren't doing anything in the way of resting for me.

I need sleep.. desperately.

I can relate to the useless meds thing. That's ALL I can get for pain (though it doesn't help that I have constant non-terminal/non-cancer pain, which is the only reason docs here will prescribe long-term pain meds).

They have you on muscle relaxant meds or anything else that might help you sleep?
