Tricky backlighting shots, and high contrast shots

Poor Keito, I am using him for photographic target practice.

He is so amusing when he sees something unexpected.

For a slightly different shot: Four Wing Bows in a Row. This one was tricky due to the white enamel paint on the door.

A great thing about digital cameras - pictures are cheap and yoy see the results right away.

All of these looked pretty good, I assume that the horse was a close-up/macro shot?

Yeah, no need to worry about tossing negatives and developed pictures that don't come out right.

The jade horse was using the closeup/macro setting. I am tempted to post the full sized, that I did with the cat and bird shots. The details are amazing.
