Brought the 4 rings down to Distinctive Jewelers, and showed Tam how loose they were. He agrees, I was lucky not to have lost any of them, and they need to be resized. My hands feel totally bare without my shiny-sparklies. Tam said since I am returning customer (and a darned good one to boot!) he will be giving me a decent deal on the resizing, and the irodium plating afterwards.

Going to take Alan out for his first legal drink at the Kardy at 8-sh. Anyone wanting to pop in and wish him a happy birthday is welcome, but advance warning: There will not be any 'drinking games'. You want to down 18 shots of something you have my blessing, but it's not going to be done by Alan. Might sound harsh, but this is what he said, not me.

I wish I had you for my mum when I turned 18, she'd never have taken me to the pub for a drink. I got the Evil Eye if I ever decided to have a drink, outside of celebration times such as New Years, at home. Sheesh, I even had to have my 21st at a friend's place, because the way my mother would have carried on. Alan also sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders.
