Now isn't that interesting

Went to my scheduled Hydrotherapy session (looking at the card, and it does say Thurs 11am) only to be told I was there at the wrong time. Was supposed to be there at 10am. Not happy, Jan. So, I stopped at the reception desk to ask if anyone had turned in a silver bangle bracelet with three blue stones (topaz) that had gone wandering the past Thursday. Liz, the PT, was walking out as I was finishing up, and asked why I hadn't been there. I told her that I (and three other women behind me) had been told to come in at 11, rather than at 10. Liz said no wonder no one had shown up. Seems that someone at the desk goofed. Made me feel a bit less brain dead. The bracelet hadn't been turned in, so headed to the pool at Leeming Rec Center, for me to do some of the exercises listed. Did as many as I could there without the dumbbells and other equipment.
aikidomayland and I went to lunch at the Hawkers' Cafe in Winthrop. Since we had been there the day the bracelet fell off (I hadn't noticed until after 5pm that it was 'missing' and had been backtracking to everywhere I had been that past Thursday) I went up to the counter and asked the gentleman if one had been turned in. I pointed to my right wrist, and said "Looks a lot like this one but has three stones going across". The other man that works there came out of the kitchen, opened the register drawer, and pulled out my bracelet. Profuse thanks ensued. My thanks to the unknown person who found it at the cafe, and turned it in at the counter. :)
