The telescoping of time

I just realised something. It's only been 3 weeks and 2 days since I had the back surgery. I haven't even been home for 3 weeks yet. It is amazing how time stretches itself out when you are either waiting for something, or are stuck somewhere (ie office, job, or home). That in mind, I also realise that I have been healing up and recovering at a good clip. Yes, I am still bored, stir crazy, and cabin fevered. But I have a new perspective on it.
