zeovermind mentioned, there are always unscrupulous people that will surf abuse any open connection they find.
Now, I have to get a new flat top for my TV tray.. seems we have geometry enhanced termites (*coughaikidomayland*cough) that cut a perfect 90 degree Ell out of a board I had for just that purpose. At least he looked sheepish about it. ;)
