Very quiet sunday

aikidomayland is off to the 2006 Friendship Aikido Seminar. One of our furry alarm clocks made sure he didn't oversleep. Last night he was busy fletching arrows. I am getting a set of wooden arrows in my COA colors. Very nice. He is making some in his favorite colors too. He is going to be getting himself a nice composite bow from Grozer Archery. One of the Turkish composite bows, not too sure which one. There is a Syrian bow I pretty much salivated over for me, but hey, I can only shoot one at a time.
The thursday workshop had lasting and delayed effects. Dancing on deeppile carpeting did a number on our knees, as it would grab our feet when we did any turns. Didn't really start to bother until Friday, when my right knee started making these gawdawful crunching noises. Almost fell getting up outta bed Saturday. Said a few harsh words, pulled on knee brace. Wore it almost all day yesterday. Feeling better today, but still wearing the brace as there are still a few twinges happening.
Going to preselect which costume to wear on the 29th, and have it clean and put aside, as we have to be there early. Going to bring my 'face' (aka makeup) and put it on there. But having everything ready to go will make this early start a bit more tolerable.
