The wattle tree branch extends completely across the driveway now, blocking my NE view. Didn't realise how much it was blocking it until I tried to check on Mars. Will have to stay up later than I had planned to get some good viewing. Must get decent rest tonight, as there is lunch gig tomorrow. And doncha just know it, rain is returning tomorrow morning/afternoon, and it will be raining until Thursday night again.

you know you're enthusiastic about a hobby when you'll happily destroy native wildlife to do it.

The branch is actually causing problems for cars and people. It's too low. I ususally give it a pruning just before the seedpods drop, but I missed last year, and had to wait until this year to catch up. (hides pruning saw behind her back) But it's astronomy
