I had to call aikidomayland in sick at work

Not the funnest thing to do, but trying to put it in polite terms


*ring ring*

"Good morning*******, Judy speaking."

"Hi, Judy, my name is A.C, aikidomayland's wife?"

"Yes, how are you today."

"Well, I'm fine, but aikidomayland..how do I put this delicately.. I can't get him off the toilet. That's about as clear as I can get without ..."

"No problem, that is perfectly understandable and a very delicate way to put it. So, he is still ill?"

'Oh yeah."

"Well, you tell him to get well."

"Is there any work he can have messengered over in case he feels up to it?"

"No... I think he has enough 'paperwork' to deal with right now."

I just burst out laughing.  Gotta love a good sense of humor!

No, he has some cold/flu bug. And it's been hammering away at him since Friday.
