Dubya, Time Magazines' "Man of the Year"?  What 7th hell did I slip into when I fell asleep?  Man of the year?  Ok, did they apply  proper grahic retouches to the cover photo?  Blown up bodies, grave stones in Arlington, Riebold voting machines, a banner depicting "War Monger of the New Millenium"?

Geeze, as if we really needed any more proof that the media is in Duybas' and Consorts back pockets. It ain't just family run FOX network anymore.

I know. I'm consoling myself with the fact that that TIME's P.O.T.Y. is given to the person who's had the most influence on world events, good or BAD.

I'm figuring they're saying W is a BAD influence. At least that's how I'm handling it. *sigh*

Maybe they are saying he is a bad influence, but I would have to buy the magazine to find out. I would loathe to do so, only to find them extolling on his imaginary virtues.

you can read a lot of it at Time.com. It was pretty nauseating.

Don't buy it. Skim it at the newsstand. If I was a TIME subscriber, I'd be sending them my cancellation right about now.

I don't think that that is so bad: Time's man of the year is about influence, wether it's good or bad. Hitler and Stalin where men of the year before, so in this line it's not so strange. Better than when they cowardly chose Guiliani instead of Bin Laden.

If you read the article, the magazine praises this man for his accomplishments and good deeds as if he is the Second Coming of Christ. THAT is what I find repugnant.
