Got the monopod

Made pretty darned well. Would prefer nylon action rather than plastic, but hey it works. Just one thing I do wish makers of tripods and monopods would do. I do wish they would design the quick release plates for them all the same size. I will be swapping them out depending if I am using the tripod or monopod. Just takes a bit of planning ahead.

Like the fact that the monopod is less than half the weight of the tripod. Will make for easier lugging.

Testing monopod

The first picture is of a street map I have on my wall. Taken with the 10x Close up lens filter hand held camera, about .5 cm from the map surface.



Same map, same distance, using monopod.



The difference is amazing.
