Don't call us Poms, say Poms A group of thin-skinned English expats wants the word Pom banned, claiming it is a racial slur on a par with the most appalling insults

For one thing, a couple of the POMS I have met around here are the first ones around here to call me a Yank. That isn't a 'racial' slur anymore than calling them a Pom is a 'racial' slur. Get over yourselves and find something else worthy of complaining about. (rolls eyes)

Tis the season...

To be crazy busy.

It never rains but it pours would be an apt description of the calls to hire us for performance, workshops and charity functions. A 3rd person called us to book us for this weekend. We had to say no, because there is just no way we can do it, unless we can learn how to tesseract and be in two places at one time. At least Ann T. was cool about it.
