Day one of the Trad Archery Tourney in Geelong

It went wonderfully. Was great to put faces to all the names on OzBow. :) And my costuming was appreciated. Assassin. I was going to keep the wrapping around my lower face, but my sunglasses kept fogging up so went 'nekkid faced'.

Scythian performed beautifully with the new arrows aikidomayland made specifically for the bow. That scythian has more power than I thought, as I was managing to launch arrows 3 meters past the 55meter target/clout.

He brought me back to the hotel as my legs were getting a bit wobbly,and the pain meds were wearing off. No use in me trying to do everything today, because if I had tried, I would miss out all of tomorrows shooting events. We had thought ahead of time to bringmy laptop, and a DVD to watch, so he wouldn't have to come traipsing back here to drop me off but as luck would have it, we forgot to flick the power switch on the wall outlet so the battery didn't get the needed charge. Whoops.

Now I have to wait for aikidomayland to come back so I can get some FOOD! I passed hungry about an hour ago, and have slid into ravenous.

EDIT: decided not to wait,and ordered room service...*urp*
