I am saying many many rudish words

My 7 port powered USB hub decided to die. The USB cable plug detatched from the circuit board. (insert rude words here) Got soldering iron and some core and tried to fix it. Didn't work. Of course it's just out of warranty exchange date.:p

More hardware woes?

Now my printer is screwing up. It was working just fine two days ago, and the ink carts are fine as far as all the info go, but I am getting messed up and 'checkerboard' sort of printing on plain paper. It's even worse on photo paper.

At least this is under warranty!

EDIT: Turns out the printer problem was a by-product of the USB hub problem. The printer didn't like being in a chained set of hubs.

Oh Hub-a Hub-a.
