A small slice of heaven

Got new mattress yesterday. The slab errr futon mattress is currently rolled up and standing on end in the lounge room.  I have to say it was almost a 'private moment' time when I lay down on my left side and didn't gasp in pain. Supported without compressing hip to shoulder.  Now (chuckle) there is this slight problem. (snicker)  The new mattress is about 5 times thicker, therefore higher than the futon mattress. (chortle)  We almost need a step ladder to get into bed.  We have been regressed to 4 yr olds. (laughing)  Side effect though, for one night only, is the 'sleeping in strange environment' problem, so I am up a bit too early. I am sure I will have a bit of a snooze sometime today.

We will be removing the padded boxspring from under it today.

Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow

Talk about a sepia toned, colorised tiptoe through memory lane. This movie was just lots of fun, extremely reminscient of the serials of the 40s and 50s.  Loved some of the straight faced lines. ("I meant throw something." )

Time to go watch part 2 of Battlestar Galatica with aikidomayland.  It's been a great weekend.
