I am handy when I get annoyed
Jan. 6th, 2005 10:14 amTwo different sets of headphones/mic combo with the volume control on the cord, and both malfed at the same part. 30 day life span. :-/ I don't think the wires inside the control are that securely soldered. So, I cut the control off of one set, spliced and taped off the wires, and it works.
Just finished up redoing the video of the student salon we had on the 17th I had to redo it because I deleted the wrong frigging movie file,and there was an error on the recovered file. I said quite a few choice words after managing to get the file recovered, only to have an unrecoverable error. grrrrr
Had to do some tricky overdubbing,as someones' kid there kept up a steady stream of yelling. Enthusiasm is one thing, being an annoyance is a different animule. So, managed to get the audio tracks synched with the video, lowering the audio of the video so the sound track would be louder, but not totally, and then putting the video audio back up during applause and dialogue.
Fades, crossfades, scrolling credits.. all done, AND I didn't delete the flipping file this time, burned is to a FileDVD for safe keeping. All that is left is to turn it into a DVD like the last one.
