Was a lot of fun, and muchly informative. I get a chuckle out of the UK versions of Pavel Chekov we have there. According to them EVERYTHING was originally from the UK. Yeah, ok, if it makes you feel better. I just roll my eyes and ignore it.
Seems that the certain someone that took potshots at me at our student salon tried to poach one of our students. It was all this student could do to not tell the b*tch to F-off. She is such a nice person, but ya know, I think the universe would have forgiven any harsh words said to this poacher/b*tch.
Seems the Universe still has its KICK ME sign taped to my back. When a group of us were up at the bar putting in our order, some person asked me "Can I ask you a stupid question?. I said "Sure, there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers." He then asked me where I was from. Told him Tex/Mex indian, collected my order, went back with our group to the tables.
About 30 mins later, I went up alone to get a refill, same person was there. He asked once again "Can I ask you another question?" Being polite, I said sure. He then asked me "Have you ever been called a prarie n*gger?" I said no, and if I had been I would have told the asshole they were 300 miles too far south for that to apply. (BTW peeps that were there last night, I now remember where I have seen the person. He had attended one of the PitP sessions, and tried to 'pick me up'. He didn't get very far, I think I laughed and told him 'spoken for'. Plus he set all my onboard warning systems off.) I would be tempted, should he be there next time, to ask him if he has ever been called a "f*cking Canuck." But I think my grandmother would haunt me if I did.
