A pillaging I did go
Sep. 28th, 2004 05:08 pmAnd it was good... the larder is restocked, and small items needed have been gotten. Got some more sewing machine needles, bobbins, and a new presser foot, the walking foot variety.
Have also made appointment to take one of my sewing machines in to be serviced. Someone who had borrowed it, claimed she had it serviced before I had to almost wrassel to get it back from her did not have it serviced. If she did, I wonder at the competence of someone that leaves dressmaker pins in the machines innards! Guess she thought I would be stupid and not examine it before using it? (snort) Stupidity isn't my forté.I leave that to her and others like her.
I will be taking it in to be cleaned and examined by expert to make sure she didn't leave any other spiteful surprises. After I get that one back, I will be taking my Husqvarna in for servicing and cleaning, as it is my workhorse. :)
