Last nights performance at the Princess of India restaurant was a lot of fun.  I think one of the waitstaff has a crush on us, as he kept following us around saying how wonderful we were, so different from the others, so strong. :)  Gave me warm fuzzy feelings, and it wasn't because of the tandoori chicken. :)

Updating class schedules on webpage.  Already, the Waterways class is completely booked (overbooked actually). Amazing.  Melville Rec center will be starting their new term on Nov 3rd. Yay. The Rockingham class restarts next thursday. And we start weekly performances on Monday at La Tropicana. YIPPY!

Got a call from a vets office yesterday.  Seems they had a foundling lorikeet that needed a home carer. After calling 'the man' (aka Wing) to see if it was ok, I went and got the little bugger today.  It's younger than Archimedes was when I first got him. Badly manhandled too, and not well cared for overnight. Its so young its still sitting on its hocks.  But what the vet didn't tell me is that it has an injured leg.  I don't think this one will be allowed to fly free after it recovers.

Archimedes is thrilled to have a fellow species here.
