The GOP has sunk to new depths.  To counter public knowledge of  Bush and Cheneys' dodging of the draft, these spineless SOBs have managed to pay/hire/donate large sums or choice cushy job positions to a group of war veterans that were cheesed off at Kerry's anti-war comments AFTER he got discharged. (C'mon cheesed off vets..just take a look at our soldiers actions in Iraq if you think Kerrys' quoting reports about soldiers committing atrocities was off base. It happens.)

Kerry might not have agreed with the US involvement, but unlike certain others who had daddy or monetary connections keeping them safe and sound  (one getting a defferment, another quoted saying he had "more important things to do", another claiming that when he went to the recruiter, they were only taking minorites etc etc) he went and did his tour, got wounded a few times. There is no freaking way I believe the BushCO mouthpiece that Kerry deliberately shoved shrapnel in his own elbow, or hurt himself deliberately the other times. This guy wasn't the the one listed on official record that treated the injury, but he says we have to take his unsubstantiated word that he was. And what about the vets that have solid evidence and corroboration? One vet was quoted saying "I might not be the smartest, but I can count to three."  in response to some GOP shill that has now claimed he was the 4th soldier during one of the times Kerry went above and beyond duty and is saying that wasn't what happened.

The constitution gave him the right to voice his opinion of the war. At least he isn't one of the GOPs 'chickenhawks' that talk a big fight, but send themselves or THEIR kids to a war zone to fight?  Oh HELL no, send someone elses! They yammer a good fight, but are the ones that keep safe and secure while others bleed.  And when they get the spotlight on them for their clever dodging of duty, they try to point an accusatory finger at the person who didn't with fabricated stories, or claims that military action has made  a person unfit for political office.

Makes me wonder what George Washington would have to say about that POS and his bootlickers in office now.

We finally got the music selected for each of the dance classes/practice sessions. We don't want to find ourselves going on autopilot during the hafla due to brain numbness from hearing the same tunes over and over again.

We selected a wide range, from Armando Mafufo, to Gia, and Desert wind and some Helm too. I am so glad I got those other Helm CDs.

Got a bit of dance practice in too.  Tired and sore from damp rainy weather. Time for wheat pack and cup of tea.
